Roderick Romyn

RODERICK ROMYN R.I.P. (1944-2019) was an intuitive and prolific artist who created a legacy of extraordinary paintings. They are currently featured at the GB Gallery in Guelph Ontario.

Romyn was a maverick, working meditatively with a kaleidoscope of colours that pushed beyond any boundaries. His paintings in acrylic, oil, and mixed-media are surreal. They radiate a celestial energy that is engaging and exciting. They take you on journey of discovery.

Romyn was a Royal Canadian Navy veteran who served with the Oakville Fire Department and retired as Captain. He was an active member of the Guelph Art community, an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast, and a life-long painter.
